I was watching some book trailers over at youtube that featured a song by Augustana which I liked so I searched for the video, then I came across some artists which lead to another then another then came Jason Reeves which was on the Suggestion side. I liked his songs and it has been playing on my player for over a week now.

Reeves works as a solo artist and also as a co-writer with other artists.

The fault in our stars is just awesome and great. It made me teary eyed most of the time and some tears fell as well. (At one point, I had to stop and collect myself before continuing reading.) It made me laugh and smile. It made my heart ache. It made me giddy. (Oh, those Hazel-Augustus scenes!)

Hazel and Augustus are just perfect characters. They are truly captivating to read. Hazel Grace, as what Augustus calls her, is one strong person despite her condition. And Gus, he's bringing positivity to Hazel's life. He's smart, he's funny and he's sweet.

This is a witty, funny, hopeful, sad, compelling and highly emotional book. Although you can already see it coming, you will not be prepared for the inevitable conclusion. Go read it, now! Seriously! …and prepare for your heart to be broken.

TFIOS is just heartbreakingly beautiful.

The Truth about Forever follows Sarah Dessen’s formula of one girl, one boy, and one summer. Plus, the formula of a girl with difficulties falling in love with a guy while finding herself. But really, it never gets old. 2012 was definitely my Sarah Dessen year as this book was already my fifth of hers. I love every single one of her books on different levels but now, I will say, The Truth about Forever will have to be my favorite among them. 

I totally adore Macy. I can definitely relate to how she strives to be this perfect girl and daughter. And there’s just something about what she feels about her father’s death and how people perceive her, it’s relatable. I liked how she learned to confine with her mother and how she made new friends and developed a relationship while at the same time rediscovering herself. 

And then there's the boy. Sa-woon! That is how they describe Wes, the guy who is definitely swoon-worthy. (Just like every other Dessen boy) He is on the top of my YA book crushes. He’s just so artistic and lovable. He sees something in old/broken things as he creates art with things that other people consider as trash. (I wish I could have one of his artworks. Awww.) 

And the friends... As I have mentioned in a previous Dessen book review, I like how she gives life to every character she writes. Each one of the characters has their own personality that brings something to the story. In this one, you’ll see how different the supporting characters are and how you can’t help but remember each one of them because of those differences; they’re definitely the most memorable supporting characters in a Dessen book.

I just love this book. It talked about fear, grief, family, friendship, and love. This is undeniably one of my favorite YA books. I’m thinking of reading it again right now.

I have recently finished the book The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. Since I have yet to write a review, I decided to look for some book trailers over at youtube. And guess what I found? This week is Top Ten Tuesday rewind wherein you pick any past topic you want and my pick is the top ten list of my fictional crushes.

1. Etienne St. Clair (The English French American Boy Masterpiece), Anna and the French Kiss
    I love love love Etienne. He is not the perfect guy but he is definitely swoon worthy.

2. Adam Wilde (The Handsome Rocker), If I Stay and Where She Went
    He's a musician. I love music and I just love Adam.

3. Wes Baker (The Quiet and Incredible Artist), The Truth about Forever
    Sa-woon! Totally! He's hot and he doesn't even acknowledge it. And his art pieces are great.   
    Wes is my favorite Dessen boy to date.

4. Augustus Waters (The Metaphorical Guy), The Fault in our Stars
    I love how Augustus speaks. I don't know what else to say he's simply an amazing guy.

5.  Sam Henry (The Adorable Best Friend), Catching Jordan   
     I like guys who make you laugh and Sam Henry is just that. Plus, he's so adorable.

6. Oliver (The Chivalrous Researcher), The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight
    A total gentleman. I just like him.

7. Edward Cullen (The Sparkling Vampire), The Twilight Saga
    I adore him for being such a gentleman and being protective of Bella. He'd do anything to keep her safe.

8. Dexter Jones (The Musician Boy), This Lullaby
    He's also a musician, in a band and he's funny. And he likes giving random challenges.

9. Conrad Fisher (The Reserved Lad), The Summer I Turned Pretty Series
    I like the mystery in Conrad although sometimes I hate him for making Belly cry.

10.Eli Joseph Stock (The Mysterious Biker), Along for the Ride
     I like how he joined Auden in a quest to do things she haven't done as a teenager.
